Bogans at campsites are universal

I have this weird feeling in a couple of months time, I will switch on Timor’s National TV channel, and there I’ll be: looking sunburnt, eating Ritz biscuits, casting a fishing line. It all started when we went to Jaco Island. Our trip from Dili was largely uneventful;  lots of hot stretches of coastal plains,  stops for squishy bananas at roadside stalls, us smashing down Sagiko* and children shrieking ‘malae’ as we drove past.  Normal Timor stuff.
